Author’s Life
I was born in Ohio. When I was young, my family moved every three years or so (my dad worked for Westinghouse in the days of transfers for a better salary and/or position) – I never had roots until I married, living most of our years in the same town in the western US for about 40 years.
Obviously, schools were numerous, although I graduated from high school in Florida. I have a college education but no degree. I worked 25 years for a large school district – some in the schools but most of the years in the administrative offices. I was not a teacher. I am just a regular person with nothing notable associated with a writing career or educational path.
I am now retired. I am a dedicated animal advocate and volunteer at various organizations when needed. Again, a pretty boring retiree – nothing that makes me stand out in a crowd.
